The home of a writers of sorts

What book could you read over and over again?

The answer is forty two.

When I can’t focus on reading, I return to a book about a book that reassures the reader to not panic.

So I don’t, and I learn that space is big. How big?

“Space,” [the Hitchhiker’s Guide] says, “is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space.”

Or this nugget that seems relevant for some reason;

Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

The humor from Douglas Adams, with gentle lessons on the foibles of life, always brings me peace. And back to the printed word.

You really couldn’t ask for anything more in a favorite book.
